I...well...currently (not old enough for a job

) want to be a.....computer technician, historian (preferably on ancient civilizations/war/medieval times), maybe a concept artist for games or movies (I'd need to get a lot better at drawing, though I'm okay), game programmer, hmmm 3D design etc. Basically anything with computers, or maybe even an electrical engineer...Well that's me for ya!

EDIT: Nah, though I play basketball fairly well, (IMO hehe) I just know I would never make it onto a team unless I grew like to 6"0-7"4 lol...

Yeah, I'm really into ancient times, civilizations, war...etc. etc. Goes to show how much of a history nerd I really am ha!

When I was little I wanted to be a teacher.. typical profession you want when your little I guess. ^^; Then when I was about to graduate from high school I had a very short period of time where I wanted to join the Navy.. but I chickened out.. xD Then beginning college I wanted to become an Interior Designer.. but that didn't work out so well for me.. Didn't like it as much as I thought I did.. and now I want to become a website designer. ^^;

However due to an injury I was unable to SCUBA dive any more. So I settled for Network Consulting. I guess I'll have to settle for virtual fish on my desktop.

Fish are more exciting than people, and make more sense at times.

No, I want to be a cerebrovascular neurosurgeon. The idea of kicking a lump of leather around a field and earning absurd amounts of money isn't attractive to me, I actually want to do something. Hey, when I started this thread, it was a week before starting my Mass Communications course. I was very keen on becoming a print journalist, but a few days into the course and I am beginning to wonder if it is the right course for me.

The cut throat world of the media industry is starting to scare me. The people around me sometimes too. I have all these ideas about Journalism being the voice of the people and similar heroic ideas, but now I am beginning to wonder if the whole course and work environment might change me for the worse? And the stresses of the course itself might be making me feel this way, I dunno. I got 2 projects to hand in on Friday and I haven't even started.

Well, I am in this Media course so I might as well make the best of it. I have taken an interest in photography so maybe Photojournalism will be better for me. After all a Picture can't lie...

And if that fails, I am taking up Slalom Inline Skating and I have a great sense of humour. So maybe Professional Slalom Skater and Stand Up Comedian may be the jobs for me!

My best advice, whether you're in highschool or university is this: Be exceptional. If you're not, someone else might be and take your dream from underneath your feet. Because they earned it more than you did.
